Do you have the heart to dream big, follow your dream, and build an enterprise? What do you have the heart to do? Are you taking the steps to bring it to birth? If not, why not?
The late Myles Munroe, leadership consultant, often said that the richest place on earth is a cemetery. His emphasis was that far too many people die without realizing their full potential.
Do you have the heart to feel the fear and do it any way?
What is Your Why? | Are You Living It?
The things we do in life may or may not be indicative to living our why. There are several reasons for this. Some people have absolutely no idea what they should be doing, even later in life.
Some find out from a very tender age without any doubt, while others find out at different stages of their lives. We all have purpose … significant purpose … something that is beneficial to humanity.
Take the human body for example. Each member regardless of size, location, or assumed lack of significance has a defined purpose. Why do you do what you do?
Even if you consider yourself a lone ranger, what you do or aspire to will impact someone positively or negatively. You may have regrets after taking actions that affect others negatively.
Sometimes amends can be made without long-lasting damage. At times, the damage is deep rooted or even fatal. Your why should add value rather than tear down others.
Find your why and take the next step.
If you are already living the life of your dream, you could be making a great impact. You may be that light showing individuals how to manifest their purpose in life.
Do You Have the Heart to Step Out? | Go for It!
Let’s say you know what you can do to make a difference on any scale. Do you have the heart to step out? The difference in doing so or not depends partly on how much your passion drives you.
Just about everyone we look up to because they have achieved significant strides in history faced the same uncertainties and fear as we all do. Nevertheless, they stayed on course and overcame.
They sometimes had numerous failures and negative feedback from even those close to them. Despite all that, they eventually had the heart to go for it.
Fear is usually the number one thing that blocks people from doing something they feel strongly about. Ignorance or sabotage are also hindrances.
None of these should permanently hamper your destiny. Your passion should drive the desire to see the fulfillment of your life’s purpose.
In the midst of heart palpitations, sweaty palms, and butterflies in your stomach, be determined to go for it.
Do You Have What It Takes? | What’s In Your Hand?
You may be on the edge of stepping out …
- Dangling on a precipitous slope.
- Hanging on by a thin thread.
- Lingering because of doubts that may cause you to retreat.
This doesn’t have to be the case. You may need a helpline to swing you into your destiny. Before you retreat, reach out for help. Everyone needs and deserves a helpline.
Your resources may be limited, but that’s no excuse for feeling defeated and giving up. Pooled resources may be necessary to get the show on the road.
Lack of education, finances, or courage may be reasons for your hesitation. Either one could be explained rationally, but are they real hindrances in every case?
The secret is to recognize what you have at your disposal and set out to find others who can fill the gap. This may not be an easy task, although at times it is easier than you expect.
One real barrier may come from people who gravitate towards those in their own social standing. This is common; however, there are others who understand that partnerships can cross social lines.
You’re on the same wavelength based on other factors which should be taken into consideration. It is important to exercise wisdom regardless of the status of business partners.
Integrity is a key factor, yet it is not the only one. Every person of integrity will not be a good fit for each other in business or in other arenas.
Take what you have in your hand … your passion, skills, and talents … and find your place. Your contribution may be years of expertise and acquired knowledge even without training from a higher institution.
You could be that missing link in an essential ecosystem.

People who are passionate about the same causes gravitate towards each other. Sometimes you have to do your research to know who is in the marketplace.
Once you’ve established that, the next step is to find out how you can contribute to their endeavors. Develop a reciprocal relationship and see how you fit together.
In this example of joining hearts and hands together, passion depicts the heart while hands indicate a coming together and taking action. Ecosystems are operating all around us.
It’s similar to putting a jigsaw puzzle together. It takes time to come together and the missing pieces are not always obvious. Every piece has a unique identity and placement making the picture come to life.
Based on your own unique identity, get together with others, seek out how you can play a part, share knowledge that will benefit others, and pay it forward when you have an opportunity.
All partnerships are not created equal, but every member plays an important part. You may be an executive key player or a support partner to those who do the heavy lifting. You have worth at any level!
Your role in life may not be restricted to one industry or profession. Also you interact with others in your personal and professional life daily. Who can you help along the way?
Fill in the Blank. | Do You Have the Heart?
Know why and how you can make a difference. Don’t see yourself as “only” anything. Unleash your “why” and let the world benefit from the resources inside of you. You are a valuable member in your group of ecosystems.
The world or, more importantly, lives are waiting for you to step out and help them on their journey. Those persons also have worth that will add value to others.
Think about as many things as you can that have made a difference in your life, in particular, or a region or the world, in general. What if those visionaries never bothered to push forward?
Now think about yourself and what you’re holding back. What can you do to take your vision to the next level? Who do you need to get in touch with?
It may be like looking for a needle in the haystack. Rejection is natural but shouldn’t be a deterrent. Martin Luther King, Jr. says, “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.”
This doesn’t mean there’s no planning ahead or knowing what the big picture is. Just don’t be intimidated because the task appears to be a huge one. Why shouldn’t it be?
Whatever you desire to do to change humanity, stretch yourself, step out, go for it!
